In Zhetysu, 4,600 families will be provided with housing this year. Last year, 3,284 families in Zhetysu received new homes, and this year 4,600 families, including residents of Aksu district, will celebrate their housewarming. This was announced by the regional governor Beibit Isabayev during a meeting with Aksu district residents, reports the press service of the Zhetysu regional administration.

According to the head of the region, since May last year, when the responsibility for housing provision was transferred to the "Otbası Bank," 116 apartments and houses completed last year were handed over in Aksu district:

  • The waiting list residents received keys to 60 apartments in a multi-story building and 56 individual houses. This year, 40 individual houses are also being built in Zhansugurov and Kapal villages and will be completed by the end of the year, B. Isabayev noted.

Over the past 3 years, 297 families in Aksu district have received affordable housing. A significant number of homes were provided in the villages of Zhansugurov, Kapal, Yesebolatov, Altynaryk, and Sagabuyun.

Gulnara Sabyrbayeva, a resident of Zhansugurov village and one of this year's new homeowners, shared her thoughts:

  • This year I got my own apartment — bright, spacious, and solid. I am very happy this happened for my family. I wish everyone the same joy, especially young families, she said.
