Energy Facilities in Ulytau Region Assessed for Heating Season Readiness

In the Ulytau region, inspections to assess the readiness of energy facilities for the heating season have been completed. These inspections were conducted by the Deputy Chairman of the State Energy Supervision and Control Committee of the Ministry of Energy, Ernar Khasenov, in Zhezqazghan and Satbayev.

At the Zhezqazghan CHP, current repairs of four boilers and major repairs of one boiler have been completed, along with current repairs of four turbine generators. Additional repairs, both current and major, are ongoing for two more boilers.

At Thermal Power Plant No. 1, current repairs of two boilers have been completed, while work continues on two others. A major chimney repair is nearing completion as well.

The necessary equipment for the planned start of the heating season is in place. Standard fuel reserves have been secured, and emergency preparedness drills for operational personnel have been conducted.

Work continues on the thermal networks in Satbayev and Zhezqazghan. In Satbayev, the reconstruction of a 0.3 km section of the thermal network and major repairs on sections totaling 0.87 km have been completed. For Trunk Network No. 1, 1.5 km out of 1.55 km have been done, and 21 km out of 24 km have been completed on the district networks.

In Zhezqazghan, repairs have been carried out on 10.9 km of thermal networks. The remaining work is expected to be completed before the start of the heating season, followed by network flushing and hydraulic testing.

Regarding the region's electrical network complex, planned capital repair volumes set for 2026 have been achieved: 1388 km of power lines and 15 substations have been repaired.

The inspection results emphasize the importance of completing the remaining work on time and ensuring the reliable operation of energy infrastructure during the autumn-winter period.
