40 Families in Shymkent Acquire Homes Through Rent-to-Own Program

In Shymkent, 40 families have received new, well-appointed apartments under a rent-to-own program. The keys were handed over to the new residents by the mayor, Gabit Syzdykbekov.

This mechanism differs from regular renting as it allows tenants to eventually purchase the apartments. The apartment buildings in the Bozaryk neighborhood are equipped with all necessary utilities and infrastructure.

Among those receiving the apartments are families with children who have special needs, single-parent families, orphans and children without parental care, as well as citizens equated to World War II veterans.

This distribution of apartments is part of ongoing efforts to develop the affordable housing fund in the city. Special attention is given not only to the quantity of apartments provided but also to the conditions under which families can utilize them.
