30 Families in Shymkent Receive Rental Housing with Purchase Option

Efforts to provide housing for citizens in Shymkent who are in need of improved living conditions are ongoing. As part of a recent initiative, keys to apartments were handed over to 30 families. The ceremony was attended by the city's mayor, Gabit Syzdykbekov.

The apartments are located in high-rise residential buildings in the Asar-2 neighborhood. They are offered under a rental housing program with a purchase option. Among the new tenants are citizens with disabilities, families raising children with special needs, and single-parent families.

It is worth noting that the residential buildings are constructed according to current building standards and are connected to necessary engineering and communication infrastructure.

The work to provide affordable housing to city residents will continue. State housing programs aim to improve citizens' living conditions and give them the opportunity to acquire their own home with the option to purchase.

Over Three Thousand Calls Daily: How the 112 Dispatch Service Operates in Astana

Every day, the 112 dispatch service in Astana fields over three thousand calls, most of which involve the need for emergency rescue operations. Staff are on hand around the clock to take calls and swiftly relay information to the appropriate emergency services. An automated system, "Kөmek 112", is used to monitor requests, as reported by the official website of the capital's mayor's office.

The center handles calls pertinent to services 103, 109, 102, as well as 112. Information is then promptly transmitted via radio to the relevant units. For instance, when a fire report is received, orders are given for fire engines to be dispatched. All calls are monitored from the moment emergency vehicles leave the garage until they arrive at the scene and the fire is fully extinguished. Emergency rescue operations are also frequently conducted in suburban areas," explained Zaure Zhukeshova, the head of the Fire Communication Point at Astana's Department of Emergency Situations Planning and Operations Center.

Dispatch work is organized in shifts. Each shift takes over at 08:00.

At 08:00, shift changes occur, and we take over duty. Calls that come in relate not only to services 112 and 101 but also to ambulance and police services. Every call can be a matter of life or death, so we handle and process all inquiries, forwarding them to the designated emergency services," said Aidan Ilyasova, a dispatcher at the Fire Communication Point.

The dispatch service employs the "Kөmek 112" automated system, where calls are logged automatically, and incident locations are identified promptly.
