Hundreds of Trees Planted in Astana During Environmental Campaign
200 young trees have been planted in Astana as part of the 'Taza Kazakhstan' environmental campaign, with plans for 1,000 trees in total during the month.
In Astana, along A. Bulekpayev Street, 200 young trees have been planted as part of an environmental campaign. The event, supported by representatives from the business community, hotel staff, and the business sector, saw active participation from local residents, according to the official website of the Astana City Akimat.
"As part of the autumn environmental month 'Taza Kazakhstan,' approximately 1,000 trees are planned to be planted in the Saraishyq district of our capital. So far, with the involvement of small and medium business representatives, 200 saplings have been planted. Overall, this year, more than 5,000 trees are planned to be planted in the Saraishyq area," noted Asemgul Absadykyzy, a representative of the Saraishyq district.
Representatives from small and medium-sized businesses also play an important role in the beautification of Astana.
"We want our capital to improve every day. That's why we came to contribute to today's community work day. We started the initiative together, as a whole team. If city residents didn't stay away from such events and contributed to beautification, our capital would flourish even more. Moreover, planting trees itself brings joy to people," shared Maksat Konysbek, an employee of the "Zebra" coffee shop.
