An outreach event under the 'People's Lawyer' initiative took place at the Center for Labor Mobility in Astana, offering residents of the capital free legal consultations from representatives of government bodies and specialized organizations, according to the official website of the city akimat.

The event was organized by the Saryarka District Prosecutor's Office in line with the principle of 'Law and Order.' More than 15 departments and organizations participated in the consultations.

"The main goal of the event is to provide accessible legal assistance to the public, offer qualified legal consultations, explain the norms of current legislation, and assist in solving legal issues," said Daniyar Izbasarov, the Saryarka District Prosecutor.

One of the participants noted that getting answers directly from experts is far more convenient than searching for necessary information independently.

"Events like these are really underestimated. I believe people should attend them more often. Personally, I find it easier to ask everything at once rather than struggle to look up information online," he said.

Visitors were given leaflets on crime prevention and protection against fraud. As a result of the event, more than 60 residents received legal explanations. The prosecutor's office confirmed their ongoing commitment to providing accessible legal assistance.
