Public Legal Assistance Event 'People's Lawyer' Held in Astana

As part of the 'Law and Order' initiative, the 'Han Shatyr' shopping and entertainment center hosted the 'People's Lawyer' and 'Legal Pharmacy' events, where residents and visitors of the capital could receive free qualified legal consultations on pressing issues.

During the events, representatives from government bodies, lawyers, and attorneys were available to meet with citizens. Specialists provided visitors with advice on a wide range of topics concerning rights protection, legislation, and law enforcement practices.

Special emphasis was placed on issues requiring prompt resolution. During personal consultations, citizens received help in understanding various legal situations, guidance on how to approach government bodies, and information on the legal mechanisms available for protecting their rights and interests.

"Around 20 organizations are participating in the event. To improve the legal awareness of the population, the Nura district akimat, along with territorial law enforcement agencies, regularly organizes events in residential areas, as well as meetings in shopping centers, colleges, schools, and public spaces. Law and order is not only about administrative or criminal responsibility, it is also about the civic duty of residents and visitors to our city to maintain order in regard to the law and ethical norms in public places," said Aiya Absemetova, Deputy Akim of the Nura district.

Accessible legal consultations help citizens better understand their rights and responsibilities and take timely action to protect them.

"This event was very convenient for me. Coming here, I didn't expect to get an answer to a question that had long interested me," shared Aigul Gulkayeva, a city resident.

The 'People's Lawyer' and 'Legal Pharmacy' initiatives provided a platform for direct dialogue between citizens, government representatives, and the legal community.
