Systematic efforts are underway in Astana to assist homeless individuals, providing necessary aid and ensuring community safety.
In the Almaty district of the capital, systematic efforts are being made to assist individuals without a fixed place of residence. This initiative aims to provide necessary aid and ensure the safety of residents, as reported by the official website of the city akimat.
The Akim's office of Almaty district, in collaboration with the district police department and the city health department, is conducting activities to identify citizens in need of support and facilitate the resolution of their primary social issues.
In particular, assistance is provided in the restoration and processing of necessary documents. This will enable citizens to officially gain employment, access social services, and return to independent living in the future.
Additionally, support is offered for citizens to undergo medical examinations. This allows for the timely detection of potential diseases, referrals for necessary medical assistance, and the implementation of preventive measures to stop the spread of infectious diseases.
This work is aimed at ensuring sanitary and epidemiological well-being, public order, and a safe urban environment.
The joint activities of the concerned services are focused not only on assisting people in difficult life situations but also on the timely resolution of arising social and sanitary issues.
