Urban Environmental Campaign Kicks Off in Astana for World Cleanup Day
Astana launches a campaign for World Cleanup Day, part of 'Taza Kazakhstan', promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness.
Today, on September 19, environmental events are taking place in the capital to mark World Cleanup Day. The campaign is organized as part of the national 'Taza Kazakhstan' initiative, reports the official website of the city administration.
Across the city, residents, volunteers, youth, government officials, representatives of public organizations, businesses, and other concerned citizens are joining the effort. They are tidying up parks, squares, residential courtyards, public spaces, and areas around organizations.
Participants are collecting litter, improving urban areas, and planting trees. Everyone interested is invited to join the campaign and contribute to the cleanliness and greening of the capital.
The campaign is part of the autumn environmental month 'Taza Kazakhstan', which began on September 12. Throughout the month, sanitation, landscaping, and greening efforts will continue in all districts of the city.
Such activities help not only to make Astana cleaner and greener but also to raise public awareness about ecological issues and encourage careful treatment of the environment.
