Astana Hosts 'Clean Shores' Campaign Along the Sarybulak River Embankment
Astana held the 'Clean Shores' campaign along the Sarybulak River to promote ecological cleanliness and responsibility among residents.
In Astana, as part of the ecological initiative 'Clean Kazakhstan', the 'Clean Shores' campaign was held on the embankment of the Sarybulak River, reports the official website of the city's akimat.
The event was organized by the Department of Ecology in collaboration with volunteers.
"Today, as part of the 'Clean Source' initiative, we are cleaning the embankment. Our volunteers and activists have come together to remove trash from the river's shores. The main goal of the campaign is to maintain environmental cleanliness and improve the ecological state of the waterbody," noted Zhanbatyr Alimzhan, deputy head of the Department of Ecology of Astana.
Such ecological activities aim to increase residents' responsibility towards nature and foster a culture of environmental protection.
