During the gas commissioning ceremony in the village of Akaral, Deputy Akim of the region Asset Kanagatov congratulated everyone on this significant achievement.
"Gasification is a crucial initiative to improve the quality of life. Today, 110 settlements in Jetisu have been connected to natural gas, providing access to 467,000 people. By the end of the year, the gasification level of the region will rise to 74%. We will continue this work under the strict supervision of the regional head," emphasized A. Kanagatov.

"I have lived here for ten years. Two years ago, we moved into this new house, and we have small children. Today, receiving gas is a great joy. No longer do we need to carry coal, wood, light stoves, or dispose of ash. We can calmly go to work, knowing we will return to a warm home," she said.
According to the Panfilov district akim's office, 26 of 40 settlements are set for gasification. The city of Zharkent is already connected, and last year gas was provided to the villages of Avat, Intymak, Suptai, Nadek, and Akkent. Now, an additional five villages have access. The connection of the remaining 15 settlements will be completed gradually by the end of this year, ensuring 60,700 residents have access to gas.
Additionally, the development of design and estimate documentation for six settlements has been completed. Positive expert evaluations have been obtained for the villages of Turpan, Sadyr, and Dikankairat. Projects for the villages of Sarybel, Baskunshi, and Koktal-Arasan are under review, with construction planned for 2027.
