Almaty Mayor Darkhan Satybaldy inspects the revamped Almaty Tazalyk facility, emphasizing the importance of staff working conditions for effective public utility services.

During a working visit to the Nauryzbai District, the Mayor of Almaty, Darkhan Satybaldy, visited the renovated operational base of the state utility company 'Almaty Tazalyk'. The city leader inspected the specialized equipment, reviewed working conditions, and held a meeting with the company's employees.
The manufacturing base, spread over 2 hectares, is located on Baisultanov Street. It employs 352 people and houses 66 units of special equipment, including 14 combined road machines.
At the facility, 12.5 thousand square meters of asphalt concrete pavement have been laid, a storage area for anti-icing materials has been set up, and landscaping and infrastructure upgrades have been carried out.
During the meeting with employees, Darkhan Satybaldy emphasized that the effective performance of public utilities hinges on the working conditions of their staff.
"We must ensure decent conditions for our employees. How can we demand quality work if the necessary conditions aren't provided? Above all, it's crucial to respect the labor of those who care for our city's cleanliness every day," the mayor stated.
Special attention was given to street maintenance, organization of cleaning, and the quality of public utility services.

"Cleanliness must be a priority. Cleanliness, order, and landscaping shape the city's overall impression. Often the first thing we notice when arriving in another country or city is the level of cleanliness and care. It affects how we perceive the environment and our attitude toward it. Where there is no cleanliness, there is no order. That's why this effort must be ongoing and systematic," Darkhan Satybaldy noted.
Darkhan Satybaldy also reminded that the President has tasked bringing Almaty in order. As a result, beautification and cleanliness maintenance efforts will continue, and city utility services must ensure systematic and high-quality execution.
Currently, 'Almaty Tazalyk's fleet includes 1,017 units of equipment. For winter cleaning, 830 units are available, including 700 all-season and 130 specialized winter machines. In the summer, an additional 187 units are deployed.
This year, the company plans to acquire an additional 200 pieces of special equipment. After enhancing the fleet, the total number of units will reach 1,217.
