Almaty's Esentai Promenade to Feature New Art Installation
Almaty's Esentai Promenade will host a new urban art installation featuring songs about the city, creating an interactive experience for visitors.
A new urban art route is set to be created along the Esentai Promenade, stretching from Bukhar Zhyrau Street to Timiryazev Street in Almaty.
Instead of the usual monotonous concrete, there will be an extensive art composition dedicated to Almaty. The project is based on lyrics from songs about the city, which will emerge along the walk, forming a cohesive visual narrative. By using a QR code, visitors can play the musical piece and follow the route, discovering its lyrics throughout various parts of the composition.
The street art concept is designed for dynamic interaction, gradually unveiling itself as one moves along the Esentai.
Professional facade paints for outdoor use and specialized Arton graffiti paints will be used to decorate the concrete surfaces. The choice of materials focuses on weather resistance, color preservation, and durability.
The project is funded by sponsorships, as is the improvement of the promenade.
