Installation of Utility Networks to Begin at Intersection of Shevchenko and Bayzakova Streets in Almaty
Utility network installations at the intersection of Shevchenko and Bayzakova Streets in Almaty will begin on August 31, 2026, causing partial traffic restrictions.
From August 31 to September 14, 2026, utility network installations including heating, water supply, and drainage will take place in the Almaly district of Almaty for the new residential complex 'Shevchenko-Bayzakova'. This was reported by the city's Department of Energy and Water Supply.
Due to the construction work on Bayzakova Street, between Zhambyl and Shevchenko Streets, partial traffic restrictions will be in place. Drivers are advised to consider these temporary limitations and plan their routes in advance.
The project encompasses three sections. Heating networks will be laid from the connection point at Zhambyl Street, 168a to the building under construction. Water supply and drainage networks will extend from the connection points on Bayzakova Street, 232 to the site.

Qazaq Stroy is the company responsible for the utility network installations. The project also includes the installation of sewage systems and the subsequent landscaping of the area. All work is expected to be completed by September 18, 2026.
