'Clean Kazakhstan': over 120 residents of Ust-Tobe participated in an eco-action to clean the streets
Over 120 residents of Ust-Tobe participated in a clean-up event to support the 'Clean Kazakhstan' program, enhancing living conditions in the Zhetisu region.

The population of Zhetisu region actively supports the implementation of the 'Clean Kazakhstan' program. In particular, residents of Karatalsky district are registering to participate in clean-up events to improve the living conditions in their villages. This week, residents of the microdistrict of the city of Ust-Tobe conducted a clean-up of the streets and public areas from garbage, as well as landscaping the roadside and mowing the grass. More than 120 people participated in the clean-up, and special municipal equipment was used to enhance efficiency.
'I try not to miss such clean-up events because cleanliness depends on each of us. Today, together with other residents, we cleaned the area and mowed the grass,' noted one of the participants of the action, resident of the microdistrict 'Kokdala' in Ust-Tobe, Nurdana Kainarova.
Ecological activities are becoming a tradition for the district. According to the district akimat, they are held regularly – every Thursday and Saturday – and attract more and more interested residents. The actions involve representatives of government institutions, youth, community activists, and local residents united by the desire to improve the ecological situation.
The 'Clean Kazakhstan' program is aimed at improving the infrastructure of settlements and fostering ecological culture among citizens, as well as raising responsibility towards the environment.
According to the Zhetisu Region Energy and Utilities, the active participation of the population in such activities contributes to the cleanliness and orderliness in territorial units.
