The delegation of KazNIIA and State Expertise visited China on a working visit
Kazakhstan delegation visits China to enhance collaboration in construction and infrastructure development.
The delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by the director of the Pricing Center in Construction of the JSC "Kazakh Scientific Research and Project Institute of Construction and Architecture" (KazNIIA) Hasen Arman, visited the People's Republic of China on a working visit on May 28–29, 2026. The delegation included employees of the State Expertise Public Enterprise (RGP).
The visit was organized at the invitation of the Chinese side and aimed at strengthening professional interaction, exchanging experiences, and studying modern approaches in the field of construction regulation, cost regulation, expert activities, and the implementation of infrastructure projects.
As part of the program, the delegation held a series of meetings with representatives of the Research Institute of Standards and Norms (RISN) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development of the People's Republic of China, as well as with companies Greetec and Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Ltd. (UCD).
A key event was the China-Kazakhstan seminar on experience exchange organized at the RISN venue in Beijing. Participants discussed issues of improving the regulatory framework of the construction industry, approaches to determining the cost of construction projects, mechanisms for evaluating investment efficiency, and practical aspects of implementing urban transport infrastructure facilities.
Particular attention was paid to urban rail transport and light rail transit (LRT) projects. Chinese specialists demonstrated the experience of implementing large-scale transport projects, modern methods of investment evaluation, and cost management tools at various stages of the project life cycle. For their part, representatives of Kazakhstan informed their colleagues about the current system of regulatory and technical regulation and the practice of conducting expertise of project and budget documentation.
During a meeting at the headquarters of Greetec, the parties discussed digital solutions for the construction industry, modern project management tools, and the prospects for implementing innovative technologies in investment and construction activities. The issues of digitalization of processes and increasing the efficiency of construction project management were also at the center of the discussion.
As a result of the meetings, participants confirmed mutual interest in further developing cooperation, expanding expert dialogue, and continuing the exchange of professional knowledge between the relevant organizations of Kazakhstan and China.
The working visit marked an important step in strengthening partnership relations between the two countries and opened new opportunities for interaction in the field of construction, expertise, and the development of modern transport infrastructure.
