Astana Joins World Cleanup Day with Major Environmental Initiative

Astana will participate in World Cleanup Day with a major environmental initiative in the city.

As part of the national program 'Taza Kazakhstan', a large-scale environmental campaign is scheduled to take place on September 19 in Astana, coinciding with World Cleanup Day, as reported by the official website of the city's administration.

Residents, volunteers, youth, as well as representatives from government bodies, public organizations, and businesses will unite to clean up parks, squares, courtyards, and other public and natural spaces. The campaign will also include tree planting activities.

It is noteworthy that the autumn environmental month 'Taza Kazakhstan' is ongoing in Astana, having started on September 12. Efforts are being made in each district of the city for sanitation, improvement, and landscaping of parks, squares, courtyards, and public spaces, as well as areas adjacent to businesses and organizations.

The goal of the environmental month is to unite city residents in maintaining the cleanliness and improvement of the city and fostering a careful attitude towards the environment.

Residents and visitors of Astana are invited to join the campaign on September 19, participate in the clean-up and tree planting, and contribute personally to the cleanliness and greening of the city.
